Revolutionary oblong.jpg

This August 12, join us in marking the twentieth anniversary of Discovery Institute’s Center for Science & Culture (CSC) — the driving force behind the intelligent design movement — by attending the Center’s gala in Seattle. This wonderful and important event will feature the world premiere of a new hour-long documentary, Revolutionary: Michael Behe and the Mystery of Molecular Machines.

Our twentieth anniversary only comes once. Help us celebrate in Seattle!

Revolutionary cover.jpegThe premiere will be followed by a lively discussion of ID and the future of science hosted by CSC Director Stephen Meyer, author of Signature in the Cell and Darwin’s Doubt, and including CSC Senior Fellow Michael Behe, author of Darwin’s Black Box and The Edge of Evolution; Biologic Institute Director Douglas Axe, author of the new book Undeniable: How Biology Confirms Our Intuition that Life is Designed; and former Smithsonian Institution biologist Richard Sternberg. You will also get to learn about some of the milestones in the CSC’s history and hear special messages from CSC Fellows from around the world.

The event will take place at the E.E. Bach Mainstage Theatre at Seattle Pacific University, where the Center for Science & Culture was officially launched in August 1996.

About the Film

Revolutionary tells the story of biochemist Michael Behe and the revolution he helped spark two decades ago with his path-breaking book Darwin’s Black Box. Today, Dr. Behe is inspiring a new generation of scientists and thinkers who are challenging Darwinian orthodoxy and discovering powerful evidence for intelligent design throughout nature.

Learn what led Behe to his discoveries, how those opposed to his ideas tried to kill them in court, how Behe’s arguments have been vindicated by science during the past decade, and how they have led to a growing movement for a new approach to biology.

Filmed in the United States and Europe, Revolutionary features new interviews with biologists Michael Behe, Douglas Axe, and Scott Minnich, and with philosophers of science Stephen Meyer and Paul Nelson, among others. After seeing the film, you will want to join the revolution!
