Privileged Species Pacific Northwest Premiere Will Feature Special Guest Dr. Michael Denton

PS cover story.jpg

Join us on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the Museum of Flight in Seattle for the Pacific Northwest premiere of Privileged Species! The screening is at 7:30 pm and will be highlighted by the presence of our special guest Dr. Michael Denton, whose work is featured in the documentary.

This is a highly anticipated film, posing ultimate questions: Are humans the accidental products of a blind and uncaring universe? Or are they the beneficiaries of a cosmic order that was planned beforehand to help them flourish? Privileged Species is a 33-minute video presentation from Discovery Institute that explores the growing evidence from physics, chemistry, biology, and related fields that our universe was designed for large multi-cellular beings like ourselves.

We are often told that people hold no special place in the cosmos. This film, like Michael Denton himself, argues persuasively to the contrary.

Tickets are FREE but registration is required due to limited seating. Doors open at 7 pm.

Meet the film’s director, Dr. John West, and Australian biologist Dr. Denton for this regional premiere. Attendees will enjoy a rare chance to interact with Denton in person during a post-screening Q&A. The event is one of two U.S. appearances by Dr. Denton for the film’s debut.

Michael Denton is the author of the path-breaking and highly influential books Evolution: A Theory in Crisis (1985), which sparked the early thinking of intelligent-design proponents Phillip Johnson, Michael Behe, Stephen Meyer, and others, and Nature’s Destiny: How the Laws of Biology Reveal Purpose in the Universe (2002).
