About the Speakers:

Ann Gauger is co-author of Science and Human Origins and a Senior Research Scientist at the Biologic Institute. She received her PhD in developmental biology from the University of Washington and was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University. She has appeared in the documentaries Metamorphosis, Flight, and The War on Humans.

Casey Luskin is co-author of Science and Human Origins and Research Coordinator at the Center for Science & Culture at Discovery Institute. He earned his MS in Earth Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, and conducted geological research at the Scripps Institution for Oceanography. He has been interviewed on the evolution debate for Nature, Science, the New York Times, NPR, USA Today, and Fox News.

Richard Sternberg is a Senior Fellow with the Center for Science & Culture at Discovery Institute. He holds a PhD in Biology (Molecular Evolution) from Florida International University and a Ph.D. in Systems Science (Theoretical Biology) from Binghamton University. He previously served as a staff scientist at the National Center for Biotechnology Information and as a Research Associate at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History.

John West is author or editor of 12 books, including Darwin Day in America: How Our Politics and Culture Have Been Dehumanized in the Name of Science, and he is co-founder and Associate Director of the Center for Science & Culture at Discovery Institute. Formerly the chairman of the Department of Political Science and Geography at Seattle Pacific University, he has appeared on CNN, Fox News, C-SPAN, and many other media outlets.
