The Magician’s Twin: A Documentary on C.S. Lewis and Scientism, Premiering August 11 in Seattle


The Magician’s Twin: C.S. Lewis on Science, Scientism, and Society is the forthcoming title from Discovery Institute Press — and it’s a documentary directed by Center for Science & Culture associate director John West. The book release you’ll have to wait for till next month, but the documentary premieres here in Seattle at 7 pm, Saturday, August 11. The venue is downtown’s ultra-hip theater destination, the Triple Door, 216 Union Street, Seattle.
The event will include a short presentation on the book by Dr. West, a screening of the film, followed by a discussion with CSC’s John West and Jay Richards.
You can register for a pre-event dinner and the film, or the film screening (followed by dessert!) only. A limited number of pre-release copies of the book will be available for purchase at a discounted rate. The cost is $100 for the dinner (begininning at 5:30 pm) and film, which includes a pre-release copy of the book ($24.95 retail). Or just $15 for the film and dessert only. Doors for the film open at 6:45 pm.
