If you live near Seattle, join Discovery Institute on Tuesday, March 27, 7 pm, at Taproot Theatre for a special performance and regional premiere of Freud's Last Session, a play that the Huffington Post calls an "exciting and thought-provoking" intellectual thriller.
C.S. Lewis, meet Dr. Sigmund Freud. As air raid sirens sound, a young professor is invited to tea by the exiled father of psychoanalysis. Lewis and Freud banter and battle over the reality and meaning of love, war, suffering and God.
This event includes a special half-hour pre-show on the real story of C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud, featuring Discovery Senior Fellow Dr. John West, co-editor of The C.S. Lewis Readers Encyclopedia. Guests will also get a sneak peek of a forthcoming book, edited by Dr. West, about C.S. Lewis and his views on science.
